Here are some questions that will help you to think through your life and help you make sure that you are doing the very most important things in life, the things that you should really be doing.
Ask yourself these questions, and answer them as honestly as you can:
1. What is the most important thing in my life?
2. How long do I have to live? Do I have any idea of when I will die?
3. When I die, where will I go?
4. Can I know for sure that I will have eternal life?
5. Do I have enough money to buy my way into heaven?
6. Am I good enough to go to heaven? Am I perfect?
7. Do I know how the Bible answers all of these questions?
Here are four Bible answers that can make an eternal difference in your life:
1. You are a sinner. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 No matter how good we are, there are still things that we have done wrong. It may have been a lie, or taking something that did not belong to you, or getting angry with someone for something they did to us. If we have broken one of God's laws, we are a sinner.
2. Sin will send you to hell. "For the wates of sin is death..." "Romans 6:23 "Death and hell were cast into the Lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:15 Jesus talked more about hell than He did heaven. He wanted us to make sure that we knew what it is, and that we would not go there. It is a real place for real people.
3. Jesus Christ has already paid for all of your sin. "But God demonstrated His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 Jesus died, on purpose for you and me. He took the wages of our sin, and died the death that we deserve. He took the blame for what we did wrong. The One who had never sinned, took the blame for all of our sins, died on Calvary's cross and paid the penalty so that we could be saved. He paid our sin bill. He was separated from God the Father for us so that we would not have to be separated from God.
4. Jesus rose again from the grave, and will save those who call upon Him for salvation. When we are willing to turn from our sin, and trust the Savior to save us from our sin, He said that He would do exactly that. "For whoever shall call upon the name of the LORD, shall be saved." Romans 10:13 He knows our heart and when we are ready to trust Him with all of our heart, He will save us.
5. Jesus has a reason for us to be saved. He has a plan for our lives, once we come to know Him. His will for our life is found when we follow Him and surrender our life to Him. His plan is good, perfect and it is the will of God for us. There is nothing better than that. Romans 12:1, 2
If you have never trusted Christ to save you, then the best thing for you to do would be to call upon Him right now. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow may never come. Right now you can receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Call Him by name and ask Him to forgive your sins and save you. He keeps His promise. He will save you.
If you have prayed and asked the Lord to save you, give us a call. We would love to help you grow in your new faith.
